Mi hajtja a szállodák sikerét a jövőben?

A TIS megosztja a szektor vezető cégeinek sikertörténeteit és tapasztalatait, mint például a Palladium Hotel Group, a Radisson, a Hotel Planner, az Es Revellar Art Resort és a Hotelverse, amely megmutatja, milyenek lesznek a jövő szállodái

How do we target the right customer for our brands? Is the metaverse the new key element for the hotel industry? What tools improve the traveller experience? How do we make hotels more inclusive or sustainable? The pandemic has led the hotel industry to drive a transformation to answer these questions and provide innovative experiences to attract new tourists. TIS – Tourism Innovation Summit 2022, the international summit on tourism innovation and technology, will be held at the Seville (Spain) from 2 to 4 November, and will showcase how digitalisation, sustainability, the influence of art and a commitment to diversity are leading the hospitality sector to disruptive change and defining the hotel of the future.

The application of Artificial Intelligence and data analytics are technologies that will contribute to success in targeting the right traveller and positively influencing their decision making. TIS2022 will showcase use cases and new digital experiences that are revolutionising the hotel sector. Jonathan Fuentes, Hospitality Technology Strategy Senior Manager at Accenture, and David de la Fuente, Senior IT Director at Radisson Hotel Group, will discuss the smart hotel operations that are helping to turn the industry on its head.

Technology is also taking the modernisation of hotel bookings and campaigns a step further by providing new ways to get better value for money. In this area, Alex Barros, Chief of Growth & Innovation at Hotelverse, will present innovative opportunities to engage with hotels digitally, including the ability to fly over the hotel, choose the exact room to stay in or design your own stay.

In addition, to delve into the new technological behaviours of travellers and their way of discovering plans, María Garcia, Senior Business Development Manager at SiteMinder, will analyse the results of a survey of more than 8,000 tourists that will offer insights into what is shaping the hotel of the future.

World leaders in the industry

The new edition of TIS will be the best occasion to learn about the success stories of leading firms and important figures in the hotel industry. One of the keynote speakers of this edition is Tim Hentschel, co-founder and CEO of Hotel Planner, with more than 20 years of experience=. The third-generation hotelier will address how the hotel sector can stay ahead of the curve to respond to changing consumer demands and how technology plays a crucial role in shaping the industry.

Another expert that will share his experience is Fernando Cuesta, SVP Hospitality Europe at Amadeus, who will provide his vision on the future of hotel distribution alongside other top names such as Charlie Cowley, co-founder of Impala, or Rafael Rubi, Sales & Marketing Senior Director EMEA of Palladium Hotel Group, the Spanish hotel chain with more than 50 years of experience that integrates 33 hotel brands such as Grand Palladium Hotels and Resorts, Ushuaïa Beach Hotel, TRS hotels, or Bless Collection hotels, among others.

Moreover, José Rodríguez Pousa, CEO of Sercotel Hotel Group, and Miguel Gallo, partner of the EY consultancy firm, will explain what important decisions are being taken by hotel managers at a time of uncertainty that has managed to achieve extraordinary operating results this summer.

Art and diversity, another way of driving the hotel of the future

Innovation has come to the hotel industry from different sources, one of them being art. With an eye on culture, many hotels have turned their spaces into authentic museums and art pieces. Roberto Alcalde, founder of Es Revellar Art Resort, together with Cristina Lozano, co-founder of Cristine Bed for Guest Houses, will present the innovations of this concept of accommodation that combines elements such as sustainability, art and culture to offer guests unique experiences in their lodgings.

Diversity will also be one of the key elements for hoteliers that will be addressed at TIS. The travel industry has realised the importance of incorporating an inclusive approach to building trusting and respectful relationships with travellers on an equal footing. To share this commitment, Carol Hay, CEO of McKenzie Gayle Limited, Justin Purves, Senior Account Director UK & Northern Europe at Belmond (LMHV Group) and Philip Ibrahim, General Manager of The Social Hub Berlin, will discuss best practices and provide advice on how to build a corporate culture that welcomes real diversity and eliminates discrimination.

The event will also showcase other relevant topics such as the importance of correctly identifying visitor demand to establish an optimal pricing strategy to suit an increasingly competitive market. Alongside all these pillars will be sustainability, which is gaining more and more presence when it comes to optimal hotel management. In this context, Dolores Semeraro, Keynote Speaker & Tourism Marketing Specialist, will present the unique methodology she has already shared with hundreds of hotel operators to recover business after the pandemic and successfully position themselves for the future of the travel industry.

TIS2022 will gather more than 6,000 professionals, along with more than 400 international speakers. In addition, more than 150 companies such as Accenture, Amadeus, CaixaBank, City Sightseeing Worldwide, The Data Appeal Company, EY, Mabrian, MasterCard, Telefónica Empresas, Convertix, Keytel, PastView and Turijobs will showcase their latest solutions in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Big Data & Analytics, Marketing Automation, contactless technology and Predictive Analytics, among others, for the tourism sector.
